Tragic! Man Brutally Stabs Motorcyclist To Death Over N200

A man has been brutally stabbed to death over a most flimsy scuffle involving a passenger and a mere N200 fare. 
A minor disagreement has led to the brutal murder of a motorcyclist.
According to reports, a man identified as Habila Hayanchi, 25, allegedly stabbed a motorcyclist, Mohammed Awwal to death over N200 fare. The incident occurred at Tanke area, Ilorin on March 21.
Trouble started when the accused refused to pay the a certain amount to the motorcyclist. This did not augor well with the cyclist who insisted his N200 must be given him. In the scuffle, the man brought out a small knife and stabbed the motorcyclist to death.
Hayanchi was charged with culpable homicide contrary to Section 221 of the Penal Code. When he was brought to the court, he pleaded not guilty. Magistrate Mohammed Aluko ordered the remand of the accused in Okekura Prison.
The Police prosecutor, Cpl. Abegunde Elijah who argued that the offence committed by the accused was not ordinarily bail-able asked that he be remanded in prison. The Magistrate accepted and adjourned the case until March 22 for mention.
