The mother of the 14 year old girl, Ese Oruru, who was allegedly abducted by Yunusa Yellow, has denied knowledge of the widely reported love affair between her daughter and estranged customer.
You will recall that Yunusa, during his trial at the Federal High Court, Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, said Ese’s mother was aware of their love affair.
The alleged abductor also said the teenager’s mother was aware that he was leaving for Kano with her daughter.
However, in a swift reaction, Ese’s mother said “I leave it to God and the courts to judge him for that and what he did to my daughter.”
She also said her daughter was too young to have an affair.
Yunusa, during his trial, also agreed that he impregnated Ese, but said he was not aware she was pregnant until the police test revealed it.
The father of the suspect, Dahiru Bala however said no marriage took place between his son and the teenager.
Bala also claimed that his son, Yunusa, was a domestic help to the Orurus for 10 years.
You will recall that Ese was allegedly abducted from Bayelsa state, and taken to Kano state, where she was reportedly forced to convert to Islam.
